Growing up in New Jersey, I was surrounded by Italian American families. The city where I was born, Trenton, even has an old-fashioned Italian American Neighbourhood, Chambersburg, where ever corner has a fantastic family restaurant, bakery or deli which always features in any ‘Best Italian this or that’ Guide, and, is a dead cert to win the ‘Best Pizza in America’ prize year after year!
