I’m Craig Van Ness,  a UK-based American / British Voice Actor.  I grew-up in US and have lived most of my adult life in the UK  with extended periods in France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain.

I’ve worked with both indie and major publishers, recording Non-Fiction, Self-Help,  Children’s, Sci-Fi / Fantasy, Historical and Contemporary Fiction, Thrillers, Horror, Cosy Mystery, Spoken Word, and even some Romance & Erotica, as ‘Barclay Craig’.

After starting life as a singer, dancer and actor, I pursued a career in management consulting – living and working in over 75 countries before settling in the UK and ‘coming home’ to acting via voiceover and audiobook narration.

Because of my early musical training, language training, and well-travelled background, I have a real love of languages, accents and dialects; I’m comfortable narrating in French, German and Italian – as well as both American and British English, of course.

When not in my studio, you’ll find me wandering the English Countryside, mis-directing tourists in my ‘Slightly British / Mildly American’, Mid-Atlantic or Trans-Atlantic accent.
